Online Marketing / Graphic Design Associate

Looking for a motivated candidate for Online Marketing / Graphic Design Associate. They will be responsible for email marketing, online advertising, graphic design, web design, and promoting the company’s services.
Responsibilities include carrying out the design and development of Web site and graphic design projects as assigned, maintaining a thorough understanding of, and integrating current Web design trends, knowledge of Web development technologies, languages, tools, and standards into the creative team's projects. This person will be designing online and offline media, performing Web development duties, and providing project updates and proofs, ultimately producing finished products that will generate sales for the client.

Responsibilities:

• Designs art and copy layouts for email marketing, newspapers, Internet websites, and packaging.
• Contributes to website design and creation. Plans, designs, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents look and flow of website.
• Designs digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, and other graphics to enhance appearance of site.
• Creating designs and layouts of creative materials including Web pages, digital and print advertisements, brochures and other marketing collateral as assigned.
• Preparing photographs and client creative material for projects.
• Keeping projects on track within schedules and deadlines.
• Interacting with client contacts to gather and/or present project specific information as needed.
• Carrying out various reporting and administrative activities as assigned.
• Work day-to-day with email marketing software - prepares email messages and email campaigns, incorporates tracking functionality, imports data, creates list filters, performs QA on campaigns, launches campaigns.
• Creating email flyers for campaigns.
• Support Development Team and PPC and SEO marketing team in creating SEO and PPC content rich pages. Takes direction from other team members on a project basis.
• Frequent Video Conferencing with client Head of Marketing based in the UK.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience in marketing, advertising and website design.
• Superior organizational, written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work with personnel at all levels of an organization.
• Intermediate HTML programming.
• Graphic/web design.
• Broad knowledge of current Web technologies and design tools.
• Ability to gather content and produce professional, accurate page layouts.
• Ability to follow corporate policy, procedures, and corporate marketing strategy and direction.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash or Swish, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Proficient in CSS and HTML.
• Proficient w/Microsoft Office software package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Detail oriented. Ability to multi-task with proven project management skills.
• Mentally flexible—able to easily adapt to deadline and concept changes, accept input from team members, and work cooperatively within both the marketing department and with the internal team, as well as outside vendors.
• Self-starter who possess the ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
